A visual storyteller originally from Lima, Perú. I sharpened my craft in Los Angeles, CA., documenting the queer nightlife scene – from 'Mustache Mondays' and ‘Mucho Wednesdays’ at La Cita Bar in DTLA, to my role as house photographer for 'Cumbiatón LA.' And at the same time, I developed a deep interest in documenting social justice movements, particularly those at the intersection of immigrant and LGBTQ+ rights, capturing the powerful moments and the incredible individuals driving change.
On the other hand, my filmmaking journey began in the camera department, assisting on projects like 'Undocumented Tales Season 3.' And since then, I’ve grown so much, from short films like 'The Island' and working on indie features like 'The Laundress' to also having the incredible opportunity to intern on the camera crew of ‘The Mandalorian Season 3.’
Now, I'm the Coordinator of Communications & Multimedia at The TransLatin@ Coalition, the largest trans-led non-profit in the US, where I co-lead our communications team, create short films for our YouTube channel, and even serve as the field producer and stage manager for our annual GARRAS fashion show fundraiser.
